Andi the Co-worker There once was a co-worker named AndiWho's punctuality was amazingly dandy She was always on time exactly like I'm What a goofy girl, that Andi At work it is sometimes boring Some days you will find me snoring but Andi doesn't tire high strung like a wire Her spirits are always high soaring At work we deliver computers we push them around on scooters it isn't that tough just deliver the stuff and then lock the equipment from looters Once while Andi was in transit from a corner jumped a dark bandit He threatened her life with a huge rubber knife so she thought she could easily withstand it The bandit lunged with force and the knife did nothing of course but shocked from the bound Andi fell to the ground and was promptly trample by a horse now Andi was dead on the spot never hearing the horse's trot the bandit got sick and buried her quick and there she was left rot Now Andi was simply naive about the soul when it has to leave She had heard all of the stories of gods and their glory's but she just didn't know what to believe the soul went to an agnostic oasis where uncertainty was the basis no one knew up from down or pink from brown or even if this was an oasis she would probably stay there forever but no one was sure however some thought that it might be just a short plight and could maybe leave whenever things that were known, were hazy like the smell of the pink/orange/bluish daisy or how it rained from the ground or made a smelly sound trying to figure stuff out was just crazy there was never white snow the wind wouldn't blow the trees would to and fro no bigger than a toe cats in a dog show a scare-a-corn crow darkness would glow stops would go chairs made of dough clouds far below yellow cups of joe race cars going slow an arrow shooting a bow grass you didn't have to mow no need for a garden hoe a river that didn't flow identifiable john doe an informative news show a pointy plateau an honest h.m.o. Vincent van Gogh sloppy joe red bordeaux quid pro quo So that's the story or Andi who would never share her candy she was mean to the boys and horded her toys I hope this poem comes in handy sigh only a moment agomy thoughts cheery an appetite for life a gleam in my eye a smile on my face funny joke hearty laugh but just one thought an unstoppable mind shift an indescribable apathy a terrible glare in my gaze an expression of great unhappiness contemptuous remark single tear Imprecation!!! I’m in loveWHY Why do I hate inside Why can’t you let me go Why can’t you let me love I just want to give my heart to the fullest But I’m still so cynical But the world is just death and destruction But NO!!! That is not me!!! I do love I LOVE I CAN LOVE I WILL LOVE Loving is not the problem Receiving … Oh accepting I am loved? Someone loves me? HOW WHY Look at me!! Listen to me!! Hate me please!! That’s what I deserve Hate… Death… I’m sorry |
